The solar radio spectrometer of Yunnan (YNAO) has been replaced by the Gauribidanur Low-frequency Solar Spectrograph (GLOSS) in Spectral UT 00h->08h surveys. The GLOSS data are available from August 1, 2017.
Since August 10, 2017 , the solar radio spectrometer of Yunnan is not available. The instrument is down. The main board of Industrial Personal Computer is damaged. The Yunnan team is working to make a new main board.
Since December 2015, the manual LASCO CME list is not available. Therefore, CMEs are not reported on the Composite I pages
During the entire period of the Juno mission, the NDA observing time is dedicated to Jupiter. The 10-80 MHz NDA dynamic spectrum has been replaced by the Humain dynamic spectrum (Belgiumn) in the Composite I, Composite IIa and Composite IIb surveys.
Please, note that the NDA will still observe the Sun when both observing windows won't overlap. The NDA datas and composite spectrum during those periods, are avaiblable upon request.
Due to maintenance issues, the WAVES RAD1 dynamic spectrum are unavailable since March 26, 2016. The composite spectrum will be avaliable as soon as the 1-min integrated data will be available again.
STEREO A is back online since November 21, 2015. SWAVES dynamic spectrum are available on the 24h composite page.
Added a large sellection of high quality images of the quiet Sun from 2004 to 2013.
We are upgrading two main parts of the NRH: the control system and the correlator.
Observations may start next november.
Opening of a new spectral survey 700-0.02 MHz, which covers 00-08 UT time range and one hour zooms. This survey combines data from the Yunnan, Culgoora(or Learmonth) and Wind/waves spectrographs. The survey starts on 2014, Apr 2.
We discovered recently an important corrosion problem on the antennas feeds on the east-west array o the NRH. The feeds of 15 antennas have then ben dismounted in order to apply a new coating. Observations have been stopped on July 18, and we expect to finish this maintenance around July 29. During the same time, and at least all August month, the other feeds (28 antennas) will also receive a new coating. This is a planned maintenance, and it should not stop the observations. Images quality may be degraded by missing antennas (not more than 4 at a time). The end of the operation may occur between beginning of september and mid october, depending on weather conditions.
Since July 13th 2012, we experiment severe failures in the data acquisition system of the NRH. Observations quite often stop unexpectedly. For some days we offer a partial time coverage, for others, there are no observations at all. We apologize for the inconveient, and hope everything will be fixed soon.

The NRH stopped observations between 26 OCT 2009 and 27 NOV 2009 due to receiver failure.
