17 Jan 2017 : CMES not availables

Since  December  2015,  the  manual  LASCO  CME  list  is  not   available.  Therefore,  CMEs  are  not  reported  on  the  Composite  I  pages

20 Oct 2016 : Data from Humain spectrograph replacing DAM

During the entire period of the Juno mission, the NDA observing time is dedicated to Jupiter. The 10-80 MHz NDA dynamic spectrum has been replaced by the Humain dynamic spectrum (Belgiumn) in the Composite I, Composite IIa and Composite IIb surveys.

Please, note that the NDA will still observe the Sun when both observing windows won't overlap. The NDA datas and composite spectrum during those periods, are avaiblable upon request.

10 Oct 2016 : Unavailability of Waves RAD 1 data

Due to maintenance issues, the WAVES RAD1 dynamic spectrum are unavailable since March 26, 2016. The composite spectrum will be avaliable as soon as the 1-min integrated data will be available again.

26 Nov 2015 : Stereo A is back

STEREO A is back online since November 21, 2015. SWAVES dynamic spectrum are available on the 24h composite page.

19 Aug 2015 : Rotationnal synthesis images

Added a large sellection of high quality images of the quiet Sun from 2004 to 2013.

05 Aug 2015 : Temporary interruption of NRH observations

We are upgrading two main parts of the NRH: the control system and the correlator.
Observations may start next november.

28 May 2014 : Opening of the Spectral UT 00h->08h survey

Opening of a new spectral  survey 700-0.02 MHz,  which covers 00-08 UT time range and one hour zooms. This survey combines data  from the Yunnan, Culgoora(or Learmonth) and  Wind/waves spectrographs. The survey starts on 2014, Apr 2.

26 Jul 2013 : Stopped or degraded NRH observations

We discovered recently an important corrosion problem on the antennas feeds on the east-west array o the NRH. The feeds of 15 antennas have then ben dismounted in order to apply a new coating. Observations have been stopped on July 18, and we expect to finish this maintenance around July 29. During the same time, and at least all August month, the other feeds (28 antennas) will also receive a new coating. This is a planned maintenance, and it should not stop the observations. Images quality may be degraded by missing antennas (not more than 4 at a time). The end of the operation may occur between beginning of september and mid october, depending on weather conditions.

02 Oct 2012 : No news

31 Aug 2012 : Failures in the data acquisition system of the NRH

Since July 13th 2012, we experiment severe failures in the data acquisition system of the NRH. Observations quite often stop unexpectedly. For some days we offer a partial time coverage, for others, there are no observations at all. We apologize for the inconveient, and hope everything will be fixed soon.

10 Nov 2011 : New link to RHESSI data

You can now access to the daily RHESSI data page directly from the daily survey page.

16 Dec 2010 : Full resolution NRH data can be requested

The full resolution NRH data (from 0.125sec to 1sec) can be requested by the website.
If you want to request full resolution NRH data, please go to DOWNLOAD DATA/NRH on the left menu.

21 May 2010 : Unavailabity of the website : 21 May --> 3 June

Between May the 21th and June the 3rd,the website RadioMonitoring will not be available all the time, due to maintenance.
Apologize for this.

19 Jan 2010 : Opening of the new web page

This new version includes :
  • A more professional graphic design
  • A more user-friendly interface including a user guide
  • A ser-friendly interface including a new decametric/decimetric survey including a EW and NS brightness distribution versus time from NRH with contour plot which is more precise but less suitable for quiet sun than greyscale
  • An updated events ser-friendly interface including a gallery with more scientific explanations

  • 10 Jan 2010 : The composite IIb page is now available.

This composite IIb page is an auxiliary page for the composite I page.
It displays the EW and NS brightness distribution versus time from NRH with contour plot which is more precise but less suitable for quiet sun than greyscale.
It displays too the 2 same spectra as composite IIa at the decimetric/decametric frequency range.
See User guide for more informations.

30 Nov 2009 : The composite IIb page will be available soon.

A new composite page will be available soon. This composite IIb page will be an auxiliary page for the composite I page.
It will display the EW and NS brightness distribution versus time from NRH with contour plot which is more precise but less suitable for quiet sun than greyscale.
It will display too the 2 same spectra as composite IIa at the decimetric/decametric frequency range.

    27 Nov 2009 : NRH resumes observations on 27 NOV 2009.

The NRH stopped observations between 26 OCT 2009 and 27 NOV 2009 due to receiver failure.
